A - G Requirements
A. History/Social Science - 2 years required
Two years of history/social science including one year of U.S history and one year of World history.
B. English - 4 years required
Four years of college-preparatory English that include frequent and regular writing, and reading of classic and modern literature.
C. Mathematics - 3 years required, UC- 4 recommended
Three years of college preparatory mathematics.
D. Lab Science- 2 years required, UC- 3 recommended
Two years of laboratory science providing fundamental knowledge in Biological and Physical Science.
Biological Science: Biology A/B, Marine Bio A/B
Physical Science: Chemistry A/B, Integrated/Coordinated Science (ICS) A/B
E. LOTE / Foreign Language - 2 years, UC- 3 recommended
Two years of the same language other than English.
F. Visual and Performing Arts - 1 year required
One year of visual or performing art in the same discipline.
G. College Preparatory Electives - 1 year required
An additional year from “A - F” (third year).
